When considering our friends and neighbours who are struggling with poverty, what does it mean for someone to step out of hardship and into a life of flourishing?
This award-winning documentary aims to look at the context of downtown Hamilton, Ontario and some of the organizations that are at work in the midst of several states of emergency related to poverty. It also follows the story of friend and volunteer: Chris as he tells his story of experiencing living in a tent for the first time and how he transitioned back into housing.

Most importantly, we want to thank Chris for sharing his story. May we each reflect on his experiences and remember our friends and neighbours who are currently unhoused and are living in tents or outside. May we also recognize the need for each of us to be able to access spaces of belonging, community, and having a place to contribute in order to flourish.
